Energy Delta Institute
Energy Delta Institute (EDI) is an international energy business school in Groningen, the Netherlands, with a primary focus on natural gas. EDI was founded in 2003 by major international partners including N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie, OAO Gazprom and the University of Groningen, later joined by Shell and RWE as founding partners. Associated partners include Essent, Electrabel, EBN and DONG Energy.
As an institute of executive education, EDI offers a coherent and comprehensive package of training programmes that focus on the economic, management, technical and geopolitical aspects of the energy business. Its primary goal is to empower current and future leaders through knowledge. EDI offers a portfolio of Executive Master Programmes and Master Classes about topics such as LNG, Underground Gas Storage, Gas Sales and Gas Transport & Shipping.
Via its knowledge hub, EDI also initiates a wide variety of knowledge and information activities to enhance insight into the energy business. The activities include: Sharing research and research results, various publications (including ‘EDI Quarterly’), the Latest Energy News (daily) at www.energydelta.org, conferences, key events, seminars and round-table discussions.
The addition of EEO to EDI’s network as an information exchange partner, strengthens EDI possibilities to empower leading energy businesses in the world and share knowledge.
